Capt Rajveer tells the cadets the importance of concentration, when all of them hear a voice asking if he can compete with the winner... Rajveer is pleasantly surprised to Lala – his mentor standing in front of him. They continue the game and Rajveer is defeated in the exercise…lala tells capt Rajveer that he is planning to send his daughter – sherry to the academy. He shows him the notice issued against Rajveer  and tells him to look for Colonel Shakti Chandra .
Lala assures him that he will always be there for him – his son – and they will together finfd the red box and which will help in proving Naveen’s innocence . in the courtyard we see Shalini sleepwalking and in her sleep walk she slaps Major Nair ! we see that the cadets have witnessed this amusing moment  and yudi goes after shalini .
But before he can reach her she s gone and he finds her earring, which she has accidentally dropped, on the floor . he picks it up and keeps it with him . Abhimanyu is strolling alone in the academy; Nair comes and says things against Capt Rajveer. The cadets have a drill where nair tells  abhimanyu that he shoots and  misses the target then cadets will go without meals for two days… and if he shoots and hits , then they will get food to eat . abhimanyu agrees and picks up the gun to shoot . major nair to make the test all the more difficult, flashes a torch light , right into his eyes .
