We see that Capt Abhimanyu has hit bulls eye . he thinks that all the cadets are cheering for him but he realizes that its Capt Rajveer that they are happy for … again Abhimanyu feels totally left out and alone . Brigadier Chandok gives Capt. Nair a letter in which it is mentions that Abhimanyu has been recommended for Vice principals post. Nair sees that the letter is week old.
He seems to have got an idea. He goes and gives the letter to Rajveer and tells him to give it to Abhimanyu. He also plans a football match between faculty and the cadets. In the football match while scoring the winning goal, Capt Abhimanyu unintentionally injures Pooja . Abhimanyu is too engrossed in celebrating his victory , while she is still lying injured on the ground…everybody is sickened by this display . Abhimanyu just realizes it after he finds himself left alone on the field.
