Naina gift Abhimanyu her brother’s book- The art of War’. An orderly informs Major Nair that Rajveer is conducting g a secret – meeting  , in the academy . Nair tells Abhimanyu and he goes to check, if that is true . Abhimanyu confronts Capt Rajveer , but Rajveer refuses to tell him the agenda of the meeting on the grounds of national -security . Major Nair deliberately frames his words in such a way – telling Rajveer that he has broken the rules of the academy and will be punished. Abhimanyu to everybody’s surprise agrees.  Capt Rajveer is put into the solitary confinement. All the cadets detest this but cant do anything about it. Ali collapses during one of the drills and is rushed to the infirmary.
